Spring Sessions Marathon

Do you need to tell your family's story?  I love to capture those real life stories!  It is one of the reasons I became a photographer almost 9 years ago. If I could go back in time to capture those moments with my family while they were still home, I would do it in a heartbeat.  So don't miss your chance to freeze those precious moments because once they are gone, they are gone. In the past, I have offered spring mini sessions and they have been great but I have always felt that 25 minutes is not sufficient amount of time to truly catch those real stories that will last a lifetime .  So this year, I am changing it up a little and offering 4 one hour sessions {my half...

Emerald Park Wedding | Erica and Denny

Emerald Park is one of the hidden treasures of North Little Rock, Arkansas.  When Erica contacted me about her December wedding, she mentioned that she was thinking about Petit Jean State Park (one of the most beautiful state parks we have in Arkansas).  So I knew what vision she had in mind but since she lived only minutes (literally) from Emerald Park, I suggested she have a look there.   Erica and Denny were having a small and intimate wedding with only family, they decided Emerald Park was perfect.   Emily Wright of Julep Floral, was asked to handle the bridal bouquet and the rest of the floral designs for the day.  The bride has saved some very special items from both of her grandfathers that had passed away several years before. ...

Zach + Hayley | Carter Farm Wedding

Hayley + Zach were married on a beautiful, sunny day in September with  beautiful green pastures, blue skies, and a warm breeze! It was the PERFECT fall wedding day!  I have loved getting to know these two throughout their wedding journey.  Their wedding day was an example of how much Zach and Hayley are loved by their family and friends.  From the time I arrived at the venue until the bubble exit, there was such a sweet, relaxed atmosphere that made the day so joyful.  You know those days when all you can do is smile, yep, it was that the kind of day!   It was in heaven shooting at Carter Farms in Benton, Arkansas.  The venue has a wonderful feel of rustic and elegance combined in one barn!  Enjoy...

Petit Jean Workshop

Glamping at it's finest!  Petit Jean Mountain has some of the most amazing views in Arkansas and YURTS!!!  So what better place to hold a workshop?  After 8 years and at least 20 workshops under my belt,  it is time to share a those things that I have learned with others.  Out of the workshops I have attended, I feel the small ones are the best because there is more time for a little more one on one, so I am limiting this workshop to 8 attendees. I wanted to merge 2 of my favorite things: photography and camping.  But we are going to spice it up a little with glamping.  Think a yurt, canoe, campfire, waterfall, and smores!   The cost of the workshop is $450 but $50 will be waived if...

Emerald Park | Paige and Heath Maternity

Let's talk about maternity sessions and how important these sessions are.  As the mother who has had this special time in my life 4 times, I now see the importance of capturing such a fleeting moment in time. There were times that I felt as though I looked like a beached whale.  As time has passed, I catch myself wanting to look back at those pictures even if they were just snapshots that my husband took.  One particular picture comes to mind, I was 8 month pregnant with our first child standing in front of the stairs inside of our house.  I felt particular huge at the moment but the smile that was on my face tells a whole different story of joy. Sometimes, it is better to capture a moment in...
